Business & Skilled Migration named awards finalist
A business unit within Trade and Investment Queensland – Business & Skilled Migration Queensland (BSMQ) – is one of 24 finalists in this year’s Queensland Multicultural Awards.
These prestigious awards are an opportunity to acknowledge the important contribution of the many individuals, businesses and community groups who work tirelessly to promote an inclusive Queensland.
BSMQ is nominated in the Government (State and Local) category along with three other high-profile organisations in Queensland.
This year, 106 nominations were received across the following six categories:
- Individual – under 25 years
- Individual – 25 years and over
- Local club or community group
- Community sector organisation (not-for-profit)
- Business or company (e.g. industry, finance, media)
- Government (State and Local).
A winner will also be selected from all nominations for the Minister’s Multicultural Award. The winners will be announced at a gala lunch at the Logan Entertainment Centre on 6 August.
The awards are part of Queensland Multicultural Month, which is being held for the second year in August and is the state’s largest celebration of multiculturalism.
