Last week saw the end of a successful G20 Summit. TIQ, along with the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane Marketing, were present at the G20 International Media Centre (IMC) from Wednesday 12 November to Sunday 16 November.

At the IMC, we were able to promote Queensland across each of its priority sectors to G20 and media delegates, including the now-famous koala Jimbelung from Dreamworld.

The Queensland Government stand was a replica Queenslander house built within the IMC, which provided an opportunity for G20 international delegates to play some backyard cricket, enjoy Queensland-made chocolate brownies and pick up media bags containing marketing collateral and information from TIQ, TEQ and Brisbane Marketing.
