Ministerial Champion for International Education, The Hon. Minister Jones, launched the Study Queensland Global Achievers Program (GAP) at the Shiv Nadar School on Tuesday 27 November 2018.
The GAP initiative was developed to showcase stories and experiences of high-achieving undergraduates who are currently studying in Queensland. Minister Jones stated this was a new way to grow Queensland’s international education sector, in India and other markets in the year ahead.
Chosen students, including UQ student Raunug Bahl (pictured), will be visiting leading Indian international schools, promoting Queensland as a world-class study destination.
The main tour of Indian schools will take place between January and February 2019 and will cover eight leading institutions. Updates from the tour will be shared on LinkedIn and Instagram as they happen.
