Australian Trusted Trader comes on board for the 2022 Export Awards
ATT accredits Australian businesses that can demonstrate a secure international supply chain and compliant trade practices. Once accredited, businesses have access to a range of benefits that simplify their customs processes. The program delivers benefits for importers, exporters and service providers.
Benefits of interest to Exporters include:
Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRAs)
MRAs are arrangements between the ABF and customs agencies of key trading partners. Under these arrangements, where possible, your goods will be given preferential treatment upon arrival at the border of an MRA partner economy allowing faster access to international markets.
Known Consignor
Goods that are exported by air from Australia must be cleared and have a valid security declaration issued by a Known Consignor or a Regulated Air Cargo Agent. The Known Consignor benefit provides streamlined application processes for businesses who are already Trusted Traders and wish to be approved as a Known Consignors.
Streamlined access to APEC Business Travel Card
The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Travel Card (ABTC) allows cardholders to enter APEC economies for business travel for up to 90 days without needing to apply for a visa, and provides access to fast-track entry and exit lanes at most international airports.
Australian Trusted Trader is proud to be a sponsor of the 2022 Queensland Export Awards.
