Aussie Game Meats was founded in Queensland, Australia in 1997, which then expanded organically and by acquisition to become the largest processor of game meat in Australia today.
Output from our facilities is in excess of 10,000 tonnes per annum. With more than 120 employees, we export to Europe, Americas, Africa, Asia and our products are already sold in retail chains like Systeme U and Lidl in Europe.
We are audited against the Global Standard for Food Safety as laid down by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) with a certification grade B.
Currently privately owned, our focus is to introduce kangaroo meat to new markets and educate the buyers and consumers about its benefits. Virtually fat-free and high in protein, kangaroo is a lean meat that is similar to red meats in other aspects while being commercially competitive.
We can provide flexible packaging and labelling options for our customers and provide our products chilled or frozen.
