Since 1985 it has grown in size and reputation, with up to 6700 tonnes of macadamias processed in a single season and owned and supported by approximately 130 grower shareholders. It’s innovative Green and Gold Macadamias initiative brought together Australian and South African processors and helped stabilise prices and supply for growers and significant clients around the globe.

Green and Gold Macadamias
Suncoast Gold has maintained international marketing staff for many years, supporting the promotion of the macadamia industry. The company formed a marketing joint venture ‘Green and Gold Macadamias’ with Green Farms in South Africa, followed by another large Australian macadamia processor, to form the largest sales bloc for macadamia nuts in the world. This innovative project has helped stabilise prices and supply for growers and significant clients around the globe.
