Queensland is a key partner of the Australia Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and is shining a light on our state’s very best talent, world-class capabilities, and wealth of diverse investment opportunities.
A particular focus of Queensland’s presence at the Australian Pavilion will be the week of Sunday 27 February to Friday 4 March.
Treasurer and Minister for Trade and Investment Cameron Dick will lead a delegation including Trade and Investment Queensland CEO, Michael Carey, and a trade mission of leading Queensland businesses, as our state showcases its capabilities to the Middle East.
Included among the highlights of the week will be three events, each looking at a distinct theme: Brisbane 2032, Global New Energy, and Future Cities.
Each of these events will feature a range of renowned speakers and an audience of key decision-makers from major corporations and governments from the Middle East and further afield.
Our presence at Expo 2020 Dubai will further the message that Queensland is the fastest growing economy in Australia, and with our tradition of innovation and ambition, close proximity to key markets, pro-business environment, talent pool, and high standard of living is the investment destination of choice in 2022 and beyond.
