As a Games delivery partner and the coordinating body for Queensland Government, we're focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and delivering enduring legacies for communities across the state. We are committed to delivering a Games Queenslanders can be proud of.

Queensland’s primary industries are the backbone of our economy and communities. The Queensland Government’s Department of Primary Industries is committed to ensuring the state’s primary industries remain productive, profitable and sustainable for future generations.

Queensland’s diverse and vibrant primary industries are at the heart of Queensland’s rural and regional communities.

They span tropical, subtropical and temperate climates, enabling year-round production of a wide variety of world-class food, fibre and foliage products and services, that contribute significantly to the economy and liveability of our regional communities.

We connect industries, the community and government to grow our economy, protect our primary industries from biosecurity threats and support and strengthen rural communities.

Looking ahead, the Department of Primary Industries is embarking on a transformative journey with industry and stakeholders to co-design a bold, 25-year blueprint.

This long-term vision will shape a thriving future for Queensland’s primary industries and deliver lasting benefits for our state and beyond.
