Program modules
Export Ready: Building the Business Behind the Export
Date: 13 August, 1pm - 3pm
Many First Nations businesses are already exporting without realising it or have strong operations without the structures international trade demands. This session focuses on the governance, systems, and commercial foundations that turn a good business into an export-ready going concern.
The Mechanics of Market Entry: Channels, Incoterms and Your Support Network
Date: 1 September, 10am - 12pm
For product businesses in particular, the practical machinery of exporting can be the biggest hurdle. This session demystifies the processes, and shows every participant how to leverage TIQ, Austrade, and partner networks so they never have to navigate market entry alone.
Pricing with Confidence: Value and Positioning in Global Markets
Date: 21 September, 10am - 12pm
Pricing is one of the biggest psychological barriers for Australian exporters. In markets such as the US, a low price can signal low value, while inclusions and service expectations differ significantly between countries. This session tackles the mindset and mechanics of international pricing.
Pitching to the World: Repositioning Your Offer for International Markets
Date: 12 October, 10am - 12pm
Australian businesses typically rely on a single generic capability statement, yet international buyers expect targeted, market-specific pitches. Drawing on real examples from recent trade missions, this session shows services and product businesses how to reframe their offer for the market they want to win.
