Queensland’s leading exporters have been recognised at the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards 2025, with winners announced across 16 categories including the prestigious Queensland Exporter of the Year.
The awards celebrate the innovation, resilience and global success of businesses from across the state, with small and family-owned enterprises standing alongside major international players.
Gold Coast-based cooling solutions company PWR Advanced Cooling Technology took out the prestigious Queensland Exporter of the Year Award after earlier winning the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials category.
What started as a father-and-son business (Paul Weel Radiators) with forays in motorsports has grown into a global brand and Australian manufacturing success story across automotive, aerospace and defence sectors.
The company has a manufacturing facility at Ormeau, on the Gold Coast, and operations in Minneapolis in the United States and Rugby in the United Kingdom.
National category winners will now represent Queensland on 26 November at the Australian Export Awards in Canberra, where the Australian Exporter of the Year is named.
