Queensland technology‑enabled businesses will showcase their innovative solutions at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, taking place from 26 April to 1 May 2026 in Tokyo, Japan.

Held at Tokyo Big Sight, SusHi Tech Tokyo is Asia’s largest innovation conference, focused on creating sustainable urban futures. The event brings together startups, investors, policymakers and global city representatives to co‑create solutions for pressing urban challenges. Key themes for the 2026 conference include AI, robotics, resilience and entertainment, highlighting the role of advanced technology in building smarter, more sustainable cities.

The scale and global reach of SusHi Tech continues to grow. Last year’s conference attracted more than 43,000 attendees, 6,100 businesses and 600 speakers, with over 24 per cent of participants travelling from overseas, primarily from Asia, Europe and North America. The event also featured more than 600 startup booths, a global pitch contest and dedicated initiatives promoting sustainable urban development through innovation.

Five Queensland companies have been selected to participate in this year’s mission: Audeara, All Data and Communications, Cadent, EarthCheck, and FleetGuru (part of the AutoGuru Group). Together, they represent strengths across health technology, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, sustainability and fleet management.

The objective of the delegation is to showcase Queensland’s world‑class technology companies with strong interest in the Japanese market. As part of the program, a dedicated Queensland Showcase at SusHi Tech Tokyo will feature five‑minute presentations from each company, highlighting their solutions and capabilities to a global audience.
