Its High-Density Microarray Patch (HD-MAP) uses thousands of microscopic projections to deliver vaccines directly to the abundant immune cells just beneath the skin’s surface. This approach enables strong immune responses with smaller vaccine doses, removes the need for cold-chain storage for many formulations, and eliminates the discomfort and hesitancy associated with traditional needles.

Vaxxas established and continues to grow its advanced manufacturing and R&D footprint in Queensland, where it is scaling production of its HD-MAP technology to support late-stage clinical development and global commercialisation. The Queensland Government has played a pivotal role in this growth, supporting Vaxxas to establish a large-scale GMP manufacturing facility in Brisbane. Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) has also been integral, assisting the company through export and capital-raising activities, advocating for its world-leading technology, and facilitating connections with investors, strategic partners and global agencies.
