Queensland businesses have excelled at the 63rd Australian Exporter of the Year Awards, with agribusiness, manufacturing and sporting goods exporters triumphing across three key categories in a diverse field of national finalists.

Gold Coast-based Queensland Exporter of the Year PWR Advanced Cooling Technology won Manufacturing and Advanced Materials category.

Marquis Macadamias from Bundaberg won the Agribusiness, Food and Beverages category while Six Zero Pickleball from the Sunshine Coast took out the Emerging Exporter category.

Gold Coast-based Mineral Technologies came close in the Resources and Energy Category, receiving a Highly Commended.

Queensland has a proud history of success at the Nationals, with past winners of the Australian Exporter of the Year including Populous (2019), PWR Performance Products (2012), Sedgman (2011), and NOJA Power (2009).

Queensland’s finalists automatically qualified for the national awards by winning their category at the Premier of Queensland Export Awards in October. 

Notably, PWR Advanced Cooling Technology (Gold Coast) was named Queensland Exporter of the Year after winning the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials category. 

Nominations for the 2026 awards are expected to open in April.
