Iwatani moves closer to the action

Japan’s largest hydrogen supplier will soon have a Queensland HQ, with plans to open an office in Brisbane in the second half of 2021.

Iwatani Corporation is working with the Queensland Government’s Stanwell Corporation to develop a sustainable hydrogen export industry in Gladstone. Trade and Investment Queensland’s Japan and Queensland teams have worked closely with Iwatani to connect them to key players in Queensland’s hydrogen sector to help get the project underway.

Iwatani is also part of Trade and Investment Queensland’s aQtivate program, which helps international companies invest and launch in Queensland.

Iwatani’s new Brisbane office will give them a base closer to the action in Queensland, where some of the world’s most exciting green hydrogen projects are happening.
